Pour 2 personnes:


-3 tbsp. oil soup

-1 C. cumin seeds


-1 C. teaspoon mustard seeds


-1/2 tsp. teaspoon dried and crushed pomegranate seeds


-1 onion, minced


-1 1cm piece of fresh ginger root, cut into sticks


-1 fresh green peppers, minced

-2 duck fillets, cut into 5 cm sticks


-1 C. salt


-100 ml or 2 cup of orange juice


-1 orange, cut into quarters then sliced


-2 c. ground turmeric


-1 C. tablespoon white wine vinegar
Zest of XNUMX orange, cut into matchsticks, for garnish

1 – Heat the oil in a frying pan or in a wok and fry the cumin and mustard seeds and the pomegranate seeds until they pop.

2 – Add the onion, garlic, ginger and chilli and sauté while turning with a spatula until golden.

3 – Add the duck and fry, stirring everything, for 5 minutes until golden on both sides.

4 – Stir in the orange juice and slices, turmeric, vinegar and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the duck is tender but still pink. Increase the cooking time to obtain a more cooked duck. Serve decorated with the zest.
