Interview with Dr. Shahid Nasim

« Happiness and fulfillment are possible and accessible to all” (quote from Dr. Nasim, taken from the interview)

Ed. I am happy to introduce you to an exceptional man through his humility, his skills and his generosity. Émilie Barrère offered him our questionnaire to get to know her rich personality better and he accepted immediately, answering all the questions with kindness. You will discover, like us, an endearing human being who is eager to share his medical research in a humanitarian and
altruistic. I thank Dr. Nasim very much for the quality of this interview. R. Castell. President, Association of Bio-Electronics Vincent France

Who are you Dr. Nasim?

I am Dr Shahid Nasim, surgeon and oncologist, also qualified in alternative medicine. I am a former intern in hospitals in the Alsace region, then in Germany and various hospitals in foreign countries before opening my medical practice in Basel, Switzerland in 1997. During this time, I also started research to create my Phytomisan range. Coming from a family of diplomats at the UN, I had a childhood with a rich and multicultural education. By being educated in the different countries where my father is transferred, I was able to learn the language of the host country, so that I master 7 languages. I had my baccalaureate at the age of 15, skipping several classes and at 22, my doctorate in medicine. I became a surgeon at 27, an oncologist at 30, then a graduate in alternative medicine. I also obtained my DEUG in German at the University of Bielefeld and I also graduated in English literature from the University of London.

What memories do you have of your childhood?

I have very fond memories of my childhood. We were three children and harmony reigned in our family, because we were very united. I never created any big problems for my parents and I am still in contact with some old comrades and even teachers. These are memories that have shaped my entire existence. I loved my parents and have always admired them. I come from a very modest and modest family. Since I was a very bright, calm and serious student from childhood, I was very loved by everyone and especially by my grandparents. My two grandfathers were soldiers; the Navy Admiral and the other Army General. They showed me the importance of discipline and courage to succeed in life. My dad always encouraged me for positive things and showed that it is possible to move forward in life even without anything. Unfortunately, at the age of 7, I lost my mother to cancer. Our family life was turned upside down. Before she died, my mother made me promise to become a doctor in order to give hope to cancer patients. I then gave myself the sole objective of honoring my promise, by becoming a doctor but also oncologist and researcher. I'm sure my parents would be proud of me. I had a life full of love and success in professional life, but I also lived with pain, the successive deaths of my parents, my grandparents, other family members, as well as friends. But despite everything, life goes on at its own pace.

What prompted you to undertake professional & scientific research?

I have always been fascinated by natural health medicine because nature has always played an important role in maintaining health and curing disease.

When I started my work as a doctor, I saw the side effects of drugs through cancer treatments with chemo and radiation. I then wondered how my colleagues in the past treated their patients' illnesses without current science and technology. To find the answer to this question, I immersed myself in the ancient literature on the medical knowledge of the great doctors of the time, such as the famous Persian doctor Ibne Sina (Avicenna in Latin, 980-1037). In several works, including his famous Canon of the Physiciane, I selected more than 300 plants that I used on my patients, accompanied by massage with oils according to my own technique. This study and this research completely changed my life and my thoughts, because I found a new approach for the treatment of cancer and other diseases.

How did you hear about Vincent Bioelectronics?

I was contacted by Mrs. Émilie Barrière, who discovered my product based on fermented Turmeric "Curcumisan Plus" in a magazine. She asked me to send samples for pH testing by ABEV. Subsequently, I received an email with the result from Mr. Roger Castell, accompanied by a magnificent article on Turmeric published in Sources Vitales n° 97 of December 2015. Since that day, an extraordinary relationship has been established between us thanks to Roger's sympathy for me and for my products. I have become a member of ABEV and I will actively participate for ABEV France with my articles on health, in order to make ABEV France known to my patients and those around me. I would like to thank Mrs. Émilie Barrière and Mr. Roger Castell for the warm welcome they gave me, their kindness, their dedication, their availability and of course their extraordinary knowledge of health issues. It is a great pleasure and an honor to collaborate with these people who are like a shining stone and an authentic and magical star of kindness. I take my hat off to you and bow deeply with great gratitude. I strongly wish to participate in ABEV France through my articles and I will put my 2 books on health at the beginning of next year at the disposal of ABEV members.

In your experience, what are the important virtues to be happy in life?

Doing good for others, thinking of others positively, and loving others without thinking of any return. Happiness and fulfillment are possible and accessible to all. It is important for this not to remain alone in order to experience certain inevitable stages of change. Even if this observation is dominant to date, nothing prevents us from doing otherwise. The world is changing and the search for happiness is more and more present around us.

Dr Shahid Nasim, how do you maintain your health on a daily basis?

I had a stroke in 2010 which was accompanied by paralysis on the right side. I got away with it thanks to my massage oil with 58 plants. After 6 weeks I started to move little by little and 6 months later I was on my feet again. Since this accident, my life has changed, because I had to leave my medical office for a while, but I no longer live with stress. I changed my diet, because Dr. Avicenne already wrote: "Your health comes from your diet and not from drugs". Today's modern diseases, such as stress, hypertension, diabetes, etc. are often due to malnutrition.

Is there a childhood or adolescent dream that you have not yet realized?

In life, there are moments of exception and disappointment. But I think today that with everything I have done, I have fulfilled my existence well. I have created a range of very good quality products and I fight to make it known. As soon as it is financially possible, my personal goal is to create a humanitarian foundation for children with cancer in order to fulfill their wishes and support them to better fight the disease.

Are there writers, artists or musicians whose works do not inspire you?

I like literature, biographies and music in general. What is on your mind right now? My "Phytomisan" range is developing well and will soon be present in more than 10 countries. This development gives me a lot of administrative work, but I continue my research for new products and in addition, I am finishing my 4 books on health. My life is so busy, but it is also very pleasant, because I like to create and participate, to help all human beings live disease-free.
